Session Overview:
The goal of this workshop is to examine behavioral ethics and analyze innate biases by comparing certain individuals’ actions to the expected professional behavior outlined in the IMA Statement of Ethical Professional Practice.
Through this program, you’ll assess two different case studies to consider and ultimately determine how working relationships have affected the decision-making process.
Learning Objectives:
- Appraise and become more familiar with the IMA Statement of Ethical Professional Practice.
- Compare various philosophies relating to behavioral ethics and values for decision-making.
- Examine two examples of ethical situations that can occur at different phases of an individual’s career.
- Recognize the purpose of a code of ethical conduct for professionals.
- Conclude the fairness and/or appropriateness of the ultimate outcomes.
