Dear IMA Switzerland Members,
I love the power of hindsight. It is a perfect time to pause, reflect, plan and reboot. As we approach another year-end, like many of you, I feel exhausted but content. Exhausted, with the crisis created by yet another factor beyond our scope of influence and content, because not only we survived we did better than the preliminary pandemic response. Some of us may have already started to slow down business activities and preparing to celebrate festive season with family and friends.
As a Chapter, we delivered different engagement opportunities for our members, ranging from virtual, in-person and hybrid events to enriched newsletters, LinkedIn posts and surveys. I am extremely proud of the wide array of event topics- leadership skills, management of burnout, supply chain crisis and artificial intelligence. Taking this opportunity, I would like to thank all our esteemed speakers for sharing their professional expertise, IMA Global and IMA Europe for guiding us to serve our membership better, my fellow BoD members for their continued commitment, steady growth and quality service delivery. Most importantly, I would like to thank our membership, each one of you, for taking the time to engage and share your feedback.
I would like to wish all of you Merry Christmas and Happy New Year, let it bring us peace as there is nothing more important than the human lives, health to you and your families. Professionally, may you engage in interesting projects and challenge your academic career, acquire new silks and knowledge, develop new relations and expand your network. Last but not the least – may all your dreams come true.
On behalf of the BoD of the Swiss Chapter I can assure you that we´ll continue to serve our IMA community for a successful 2023.
Merry Christmas, Happy New Year and Happy Holidays!!
